Legendary
Spent last night at Snowy creek near Bright , woke up at 2am and had to go out for a pee , noticed the ice crystals on the inside of the camper .
Outside there was half inch of frost over everything , in the morning all pumps were frozen and a bottle of olive oil in the car had solidified, we got home around 4pm and I grabbed the carton of beer out of the car to chuck a few cans in the fridge and they were still freezing cold .
Turned fridge off overnight on -3 in the morning when I turned it back on about 11am it read -5 .
Coldest camping trip ever for us .

Yeah had all that and the only thing this spot had going for it was three dead trees so a roaring fire helped last night and this morning , never got cold in bed so had plenty blankets .

You can't go past a hot water bottle for cold winter camping! Throw it under the blankets half an hour before you jump in and come back to a nice toasty warm bed!

Down to a cool 13 this morning.
Still waiting for winter to arrive.
At the end of the day, all you have is yourself and all you need is your friends (and in our case our Patrol)
