Injectors with diesel pooling around them.

Hey guys, I did a quick search but only found an unresolved thread and one about oil pooling - I have diesel pooling around my front injector, enough to fill the reservoir they sit in and spill on to the top of the rest of the injectors in a short drive. Now, I'm not very mechanically minded and my manual doesn't seem to explain a seal that could be letting this diesel pool, but from looking at it I can see it is seeping through the area circled in the attached image. 2 mechanics have looked at it and couldn't tell me what was going on and pointed me in the direction of united fuel injection, called them and got an answering machine so I just wanted to see if anyone here would know if this is something I can solve myself before I pay for a bunch of tests.
