Hi all well still working on the GU ! I am a bit over the process ATM . its time to walk away and have a think about it .
I have been trying to get the gearbox out . I have read what I can about it here looking from under the truck I think I need to turn the gearbox anti clockwise .
to clear the starter motor casting on the bellhousing . ?
Its a heavy b of a thing ! I have the motor touching the firewall . I am thinking of removing the front engine mount ? is this a good Idea ?
I have been trying to download the GU manual and have not done to good so far . I t downloads but its all mixed up the pages are all over the place . I am no IT man . its just adding to the stress !
all for now Help is needed ! I run a machine shop and need to get it out of my sight before I burn it . thanks to all
