    Pe-trip servicing.

Before we take off northwards I’m going to pay someone to check over our car to ensure the best I can that it is prepared for reliable desert travel. How much should I expect to pay (not including any repairs needed) I think it will all be good, but want the peace of mind.

Your not keen on doing a check yourself? Just make a list and go over everything with a fine toothed comb. If your willing to drive I would book it in with Brett at 4x4 Obsession....

Just had one done pre our Kimberley trip. Lots of things that I knew needed attention but add to those things the pretrip checklist, about an hour, nut and bolt the underside and a good test drive to pick up the things I didn't notice. So just the pretrip part, about an hour's labour,, then add the cost of fixing the things that needed attention !!
