Trailer plug wiring.. where are brakes and tail lights..

Well i thought id try neaten up the trailer plug as i absolutely loath how they just grab sources from either light..
The old gq was spliced into the loom under passengers door and then a 7 core loom followed the factory loom to the plug.
Nice, neat and never caused issues..
So why not do the gu..
    Well fark me...
I can get the earth and indicators but can not for the life of me work out the brake and tail light wires..
So where do these wires run?

where are brakes and tail lights..

Brakes are on the hub and axle assemblies (handy hint - remove the wheels for easier access).
Tail lights are in the rear quarter panels on wagons or under the tray at the back on Cab/Chassis.

Single point of access on my Cab Chassis loom is behind the Cab RHS (dunno about the Wagons)
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

    Again.
    Thanks captian lol.
Yea wagons have the same point of entry to cab under passenger seat, and thats where i got the indicators and earth from.
Im wonder are these newer cars switched on the negative lines??
In the loom that had the indicators there was a large green with yellow trace, small green/ yellow trace (left indicator), green/ red trace (right indicator), black earth, purple and a white with blue trace that had constant power..
    Nfi...

Make your own, as the Genuine Accessory GU Towbar Looms break as the wires are too thin and stiff.

I have now broken two, on my last two Patrols .... obviously I am too hard on them. First one was warranty, and I forgot to mention the second whilst it was still in warranty as I had unplugged it to get tail lights .....
GU PATROL 2011 Ti, with goodies...

Why not look at the back of the tail lights and see if any of the aforementioned cable colours are where you tapped into the indicators?

    Yea this was the plan.
To run a single loom down the side to plug.

I did think of that but typical nissan jump colours at different plugs, and thus why its a pain to search.
Some people a listing colours on lights, some on loom then some at fuses..

Anyway i have figured my issues..
These later models seem to be negatively switched on some circuits..
So indicators seem to be still switched on the positive (i guess so flasher relays work) where as the brake lights are not.
So what i was trying yo do without a test light was power some leds with 2 negative sources.. (the negative line and independent lines).
Also explains that single live white and blue wire..
So now i have my test light working again i can find a feed from a wire to the body earth..
    Hopefully..
    Cheers
