2012 GU 4 speed transmission problem

Hi my trans has been what i call getting stuck in 2nd gear, I got the filter and fluid changed today, still the same. Took for a drive tonight found when i give it a boot full the power light on the auto\power switch lights up as though it is going into power mode. Has anyone else had this problem as i was told today that my trans is rooted but after seeing this i am thinking that it may be more electrical. Cheers in advance for any help.

Late model autos are usually very reliable this days as they have a lot of built-in protection. Was it a reputable auto transmission specialist that told you it was "rooted"? If not, take it to one and get their advice. It may well be an electrical issue.
