    Just bought a 2004 3.0DI :)

    Hi guys.

    My name is Guy and as the title says i've just bought a 04 GU IV 3.0DI with 207k on the clock. No mods on her and i'm trying to download a manual off here. not allowed to do so until i write some posts
    Anyway the car drives ok but it was used on a farm and well lets just say the paint isnt perfect haha. Interior mainly needs a good clean and i recon will come up nice with some elbow grease. The dash, well as expected is completely melted. Found a upholstery shop that recovers them for $200

    The engine has got some issues and i'll start a post in another question and copy the link here.

    Thx
    Guy

    Welcome guy,good luck with the car, I hope the engine issues aren't terminal. Bugger of a motor for dropping its guts.

    Keen to hear about the motor trimmer that recovers the dash! Any details? What does he use? Would be a few interested in sure.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
    WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
