Hi I'm new.
Well maybe not so new. I think I must have haunted this site when I had my GQ (Maverick). Loved that car and had it for 10 years.
Did a lot of trips in that beast. Mostly Vic High country, but it did go through the Simpson.
Anyway just bought an 2008 Ex-Telstra Tech GU Patrol and plan to set it up for some serious trips.
Haven't had a diesel or a Turbo before, so hoping to download a manual and do a bit of reading.
Plan on Taking it on the Gibb River Road (six week trip) in 3 weeks.
I know the history of the car, so don't expect any problems with it. Still going to be a rush to be ready in time.
