So ended up taking into YV 4WD got oil cooler and breather leaks all fixed and motor clean as now could at dinner off it lol. . . Yep, very happy to pay rather than bother with that job, sometimes just not worth it. . .

In the meantime rustled up a cage for the fridge with room for travel buddy up top, got it powder coated along with gear stick which came up awesome

Also replaced rubber boot ontop of gearbox, as although wasn't that old was knackered. . All good now lol . .

Finally got the lithium installed and pretty much all wired up in the back. . Sits pretty prefect in little hidey hole behind rear drawers. .

Mounted redarc 25amp bcdc charger, fuse box and Ando inlets for solar and 240 charger plus an outlet on back of cargo barrier. . She's petty much all wired up so much better having a central fuse box rather a million in line fuses coming off battery and not knowing which is which lol. . Also put in cheap shunt & monitor seems to work well so far. .

Look good Ross. Jaycar sell LED fuses that show instantly which circuit is blown, bloody cheap and saves pulling fuses out willy nilly. i have upgraded all mine, best thing i did for a while. No dear either. If you buy them off ebay they are 10 times dearer.

Bit more lockdown love on the old girl, wiring, wiring seems like it never ends lol. . . New light bar on roof seeing as ran power up there. . .

Tidied up main battery and ran little fuse block off terminal post with midi fuse hidden under relay cover . . Should have got a before pic bit for dramatic purposes was something like this. .

Not quite as bad as this but close maybe. .

    To this much better . . .

Now second optima not hooked up to anything so ready to hook up redwinch supercharger for some 24V goodness . . .

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Thank you kindly Rossco Mate, final calculations are in, your morning super helpful 12v double line haul was nearly 11,000kg of single spinner steel and crushed rock combined

Can’t wait to see what your future 24v High Mount assistance can do for our weekend drivers wacky reversing lines
He’s bought you a box of Coopers too, NO Arguments
