Options for roof mounting 50" light bar
I'm looking for some options on how to mount a curved 50" light bar above my windscreen. The brackets it came with are not suitable. I've only managed to find one company that makes a gutter mounted bracket but I've also seen them mounted to roof racks. Throw some ideas, pics and links at me guys.

Serious answer.
Get a Year 11 or 12 Manual Arts student to design something, then get it made up.
With a 50" light bar, you're a serious contender for 'I'm scared of the dark' sub-committee/team member. PML.
Having said that.......I've got a 200 watt, 40 inch and a 320 watt, 37 inch. PML, too. hahahaha

If I was going to the trouble of getting something made up I reckon I could design it but I'm just after some off-the-shelf ideas at this stage.
50" bar was a cheapy bargain. Its probably not the best quality but time will tell

I think I may have the same light bar , fitted mine under the front of the roof rack (just fits) , I had two 4mm x25mm 90 degree brackets left over from the cargo barrier and used these , have put the photos up on a previous thread on the same subject but if you can't find it I will get some more pics for you .

Oops, I must have missed that thread. What was it called?
Although I don't have roof racks so I'd need to buy at least one to go for that set up

I found this on Gumtree and I think it's a goer.
I can't find that brand on the net though to compare new price.

There's a company that makes brackets ( stainless steel) for the light bars if you want them uptop and don't have a roof rack , but they fix to the inside of the door pillar up the top
Son had this setup with the light bar but it was only a hilux so no drama drill holes .
