    Front control arm bushes

I'm looking at replacing front control arm bushes and I see that OME are the best. But I've noticed that superior engineering have a slotted genuine Nissan bush for $90 each. Are they worth getting over the standard Nissan bushes for $90 a set of four from Patrolapart?

No. The slot is supposed to flex better but seriously shorten their life. Go the OEM for sure .

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Whats after the 28? And look up lol

The $28 one is the most recent revision of the part but the others ones are available still and are nearly half the price.

The slots as Mudrunner said increase flexs. It's not a great photo but if you zoom in you can just see them. https://www.superiorengineering.com....filter=141,355

As for the standard here from Patrolapart for far less coin.

Wow $79 each!! Superior Tax right there mate. I have a heap of Superior hear and rate it but damn they can price some gear.

That is an OEM bush with a couple of holes drilled through the rubber. No shit. I have run these bushes before Superior put their Royalty on them and they lasted less than 1500kms of hard flex driving. The holes just let the Centre tear straight out.

Here is a quote from my build thread.
