    Tassie trip part 2

We're going back over New Years Eve to do the east coast. We saw alot the last time we were there, but ran out of time to see the east. This is where we are looking at going.

Is there any must see places or any that we shouldn't even bother.

I want to hire a canvan and base ourselves at two different places, one south and one north. Wife wants to book cabins in caravan parks and move every second day.

Definitely have a look in at Freycinet peninsula/Coles Bay/wineglass Bay. (central east)
The bay of fires (north east)
    Pack your beach rods.
There's a few old mine ruins in the North East corner.

We're planning on stay at couple of nights at Bicheno to take in that whole area. No fishing for me, but checking out some old mines sounds good..

Must try to catch up this time..

Stay at Longford c'van Park and day trip. It's a beautiful spot. If your 4x4ing check with locals as a lot of tracks are closed due to flood damage.

    Thanks Kat.
Pretty sure we went there last time. There's a church with the back wall that's all stain glass and a cemetery that goes back to the 1st fleet.

I want do the night tour at Port Arthur so it would be easier to spend a night or two around there.

If you plan to stay overnight around Port Arthur may I suggest you stay with a friend of mine who has a B & B at White Beach.
Tell Jon I sent you and I feel sure he and Jill will take great care of you 0362502933.
