    Newby to 4x4'ing

    Hi There,

Nate, From Melbourne. Just starting off in the 4x4 world. Recently bought a GU patrol 2002.

    About to do some servicing.
And get ready to head out tomorrow at Wombat state forest.

Any tips, recommendations on what tracks to do for a beginner?

    Thanks in advanced?

    Cheers,20170321_192606.jpg

Nice unit , good tyres looks like it's had a lift , bit of fruit , take it easy for a while till you get the hang of where you can and where you can't go , tyre pressures are important , let em down on the brown put em back on the black .
And welcome to the forum .

    Thanks Guys.

It's a 4.8 Petrol. Did the first service on it today. Friggon oil filter was a bugger to get off. Doesn't help I don't have the tool to remove.
Trust old screw driver did the trick.

    What are you guys driving?

    Cheers,

Probably a bit late, but watch out for the holes, some are known as car swollowers. Speaking from experience..
