True, pretty sure all your vl Turbo's and r31s run a 3" always thought a bigger exhaust with a turbo would be better

yes on a turbo engine you want a big pipe 3" 3.5" even 4" depending on power level the idea being to get the exhaust away from the turbo as quickly as possible.
with a naturally aspirated engine the idea is that the pipe needs to be sized right so the gas speed stays high, if you go too big of a pipe the gas slows down too much and doesnt help draw the next cycle of exhaust out of the cylinder. sure it will work at high rpm ok but at lower revs it will become very doughy

Cheers mate, any ideas on intercoolers trying to stay away from the front mount don't really want to chop my grill and can't really find a good top mount, been looking at side mount as there abit smaller was thinking one of these with a electric fan
