Sorry to hear that. I guess suburb you parked it outside at night has something to do with that as well.
Sometime I wish I can wire up mains electricity to the vehicle so the scumbags get electrocuted when they touch it to smash it.

I'm hoping it's not inner western suburbs or outer south eastern. Sub areas of those areas are good, some are not.
I'm guessing the baby seat should be ok after vacuuming all the pieces of glass off it.

Yarra valley it was. I'm sure it would be ok but don't want the little one to end up with a shard of glass in her clacker. Can never get rid of all of it unfortunately

being Safety glass i assume it shattered? you should be able to get it all using a vacuum. it will al be sitting on the surface as no-one or nothing has embedded it in by sitting in there.
Side note.
I would not be surprised if you have dropped a Pad. do you have a peddle back? Nissan are renowned for dropping pads. when it happens your foot goes to the floor. you pump it a few times and get a peddle back then your brake piston is doing the stopping.
Sounds like you need a front end rebuild anyway.
If your car is Full Comp Insured then your insurance will cover all the glass and lost items and probably the new car seat too to be honest. Give them a call, they will send our O'Briens Glass straight away.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!
....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yeah, you're right I reckon. It's not worth the risk. Glass bits can penetrate little one's skin and infect slowly.
