    TB42 distributor

    As the title states, I'm in a bit of a pickle. Chasing a decent distributor to suit my TB42 carby.

    According to the auto elec mine is on the way out and is causing no end of issues.

    Hopefully as close to me as possible, but I am happy to pay freight to get it up here.

    why don't you just re condition the old one . there is not much in there > does it have the centrifugal advance ?
    we used to fix them here bearings maybe a shaft repair . sometimes new springs and test them on the disy graph to check the advance

    It has a lot of play in it so my auto elec suggested getting a new one

    what a load of ....... I think they are still rebuildable . Find a better auto electrician . Its a easy job . easy to do one an hour .
