    speedo sender

    Guys where is the speedo sender located on the 1999 gu ute, main box, transfer, or output shaft, left or right side etc .Because mine has decided to have a hissy fit starts at 10 ks standing still, reads 60 when doing 45 on the gps all over the place so was going to start the search at the gear then get my leccy to have a look .

    Have done a search on google images and its only got the 2.8 motor shown also gone through the manuals and very hard to find even a referance to it any one help please .

    On a Q its on the D/S near the top of the transmission.

    According to the manual for a GU TB45 it is connector E209 near the D/S top of the transmission.

    Yep. On page EL 281 of the manual, it also lists connector 209 as the speed sensor, for a TD42Ti.

    Also the same for the ZD30 as well.
