Update on my zd30 getting hot
I persevered with things but then thought this is a PITA having to watch the temp all the time .
So I booked it into a radiator place n had it done ,end tanks off n core cleaned internally and externally ,was a bit of crap
inside .Enough to cause an issue ,All back together ,they did mention my shroud was not good ,Had a piece missing on
bottom right hand corner so made a piece of alloy to fit n glued it in with Sikaflex .
Runs like a dream now ,temp gauge goes to middle n stays there
,no matter what I do. Cost 500 but it's right now

Thats a great result,,,,,,,, be wary of the OE temp gauge I have 3 one the Ecu talk an aftermarket digital and the OE one
when I was having overheating problems the OE gauge stays at half, the alarm on the ecu talk goes off ,,same with the digital.
Point being maybe get a back up as you cant always rely on the OE gauge

Thanks threedogs
Where do you put the sender for an aftermarket temp gauge ?
Ken the radiator dude was saying the Nissan radiators seem to block up internally
more than any other vehicles, for some odd reason.
