5" lift 36" simex scraping on inner guards

Has anyone cut their inner rear guards on a gq?

36" simex are scrubbing the inner guards badly, above the chassis rail. They're on 15 x 10 -44's so would have thought that would be plenty of offset.

Anyone had that issue? Im guessing wheel spacers are the only option?

    Thanks.

No Wheel Spacers are Sh1t and will not help you at all mate. You already have neg44s!i assume you mean in the top section and they scrub when fully flexed up? Bump Stop extensions are the only thing that will stop that by limiting your flex and id not bother. Your inner guard is smooth and not causing any damage to the tyre or the car. Live with it and know that its the limit.

Word of warning though. The bottom seem of your body is hanging down there and is in line with your chassis rail, It will slice open the inside wall of a simmer like cheese. Give that seem a belt with a hammer and cold chisel to bend t away so it is not a leading edge.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the bottom seam that it's rubbing on. I'll bash it with a hammer n see if that fixes it.

I've already got 80 series bump stops..
