Ha! Yeah, lots of rocks out that way.
Between Patrols ATM. Had a beaut GU with 6.5 Chev TD. Next is a GU ute with a 4.5 litre Cummins conversion and a camper on the back.

Love the wet season TD. Best time of year without a doubt.
As we came back into Einasleigh from the Gilberton area, we got hammered with a big storm. Dumped a couple of inches at least on us and got the river running brown and about a foot deep. Luckily we had the shelter and comfort of the pub for a couple of hours.
It went from those couple of nice gorge shots at the top, to this in no time. Was quite surprising. The sky out the back of this photo shows how dark and menacing it was.

Here's a shot of us after the storm departing Einasleigh and heading North again. Drove for a few hours into the night to make up time, then found a camp site in one of the many old quarries around the place. The shot with the moon rising above the trucks was taken there.
