Gu 4.8 running rough.

Hey all. My Gu is running rough as guts.

It's an 02, 4.8, dual fuel.

Runs much better on Lpg than it does on petrol.

It all started when I tried a puddle. Got something wet because she stalled. When she restarted, she ran terribly. The next morning it ran much better - tho only on gas, and has been running rough since.

Replaced the MAF and it has done nothing.

Also the engine light just came on. (Been around a month waiting for the new sensor to come, but only came on the other day)

What's next? O2 sensors?

I take it you have squencial injection fitted?
99% of gas problems are electrical imo.
Maybe get the CRC out and start squirting all the connections you can see
Doesnt the EL mean dirty fuel?

Hey Punderhead. How long were you stuck in the puddle ?
This may be a long shot but, is there a chance you got crap into the fuel tank ?
I was in mates V6 (petrol) lux, when he bogged it for good 10 minutes in crap water. Not long after getting out it began running very very crap.
Long story short, fuel was contaminated big time by the crap water. Not sure how it got in, assumption is through the tank breather hole.
Since yours runs FINE on lpg, maybe your fuel is stuffed? As I said, just a long shot thought...
