    Another option is the Duratrac. It is more aggressive than a regular AT yet still smooth on pravement.

    I use BFG, A/T, KO2, (265/75 R16, 123/120R) and have done nearly 50k km. I've got an ex Telstra 4.2 TDi with a pod on the back and it carries a lot of weight - 130lts water, 170lts diesel, and fully loaded with camping gear, occasionally. lol.

    Tyres are nearly due for replacement, but I attribute that to the weight in the pod. My bitumen driving is done between 90-110kmh.

    Can't actually confirm I've been off, off road, but have done a heap of gravel road driving in H4. Really happy with the tyres, coz I drive to the conditions.

    A couple of years ago, I got them for $330 a corner.

    used MTs in 305s MTZ lucky to get 40 out of them
    had Cooper ATRs quiet great on the hwy shite anywhere else
    BFG ATs got 110k's out of them then sold to my BIL who aceived another
    30k out of them then boom but 140K is an awesome run.
    MTZs were 305s the others wer 285 16s.
    ATM Im running Federal couragia mud pretty noisey wont buy again ,,looks like its either
    MT 305 P3s or BGF all terrains in 305s x 16 nice wide foot print
    Tyre pressures 35-40 psi max down to 16 if required
    04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
