Starting a dual fuel patrol on lpg

My GUII 4.5 ST has a dual fuel system. I have a major leak in the sub tank (petrol) and need to start the car on LPG to get to mechanic.
The system currently starts on petrol, and the LPG solenoid cuts in at 1500 rpm to change over.
Any tips on starting on LPG?

somwhere you should have one of these or similar. may be a different brand or shape.
peel.jpg If you connect 12v battery (+ve) tp the contact going to the lock off, it will switch to LPG. When you get to 1500 RPM or whatecver it is you can remove the jump lead and the switch should remain in the LPG position. Might be a dog to start on gas though. Good luck.
