RD28 Solenoid Identification

Hi i would like to know if someone can tell me what a couple of things on my RD28T injector pump.
Im retrofitting the engine into another vehicle.
The engine is from an early Y60 1994 Nissan Patrol.

Once i know what their functions are then i can work out how to make them operate,

The solenoid in question is the one with the green cap. (red wire)

And also the thing in the second picture it has a plunger type thing attached to it, (below throttle cable) this has a white cap type bit and a vacuum line going to it,
Is this ment to go off to some solenoid or just get a vac signal or even a manifold pressure signal?

Red wire looks to be the fuel cut solenoid.

The part with the vac signal is the idle up function. The vac line will go to a switch that is usually mounted up on the firewall. This is activated with the ac compressor to compensate for the load that it applies when engaged.

Awesome thanks for that i can make that work with the Air Con when i hook that up just need a little electric over air solenoid.

The fuel cut solenoid seems to make ZERO difference to how the car drives if i apply a 12v feed to it or not, Should this get a 12V signal when the car is running?
Maybe its broken?

There is another solenoid below that one, With a black wire this cuts the fuel (needs a 12v ignition source to make the car run) i when you turn the key off it stops.

The one below will be the fuel cut then.

The one in the picture is for soemthing else. Im guessing your in europe or a cold climate somewhere?

Im in NZ.
If anything i may have noticed a little more black smoke when driving with 12v applied to it, But i could just be making that up as well, Car didn't drive any differently.

Dont quote me on it but I think it is some type of advance device. So when its in operation it restricts the return flow allowing more case pressure to advance the internal timing. Its probably not required really in nz.
