Freestone Ck Area
Well I was lucky enough to get away for a few days before chrissy, didn't really think this would happen, but the olds wanted to get away for a bit and i couldn't refuse really so had to tag along. Headed up Freestone Ck area and found a great little camp spot. Spent a few days exploring, tackling a few good steep tracks and a bit of walking and some swimming as it was nice and hot. Was also a chance to take the Jayco out for the first time since it's re-firb which went great.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Weather was pretty brilliant, Monday was a stunner. Freestone is north of Briagolong / Maffra.
Yeah get some pretty good shots from the drone, need to check out the footage still, wouldn't work on the tablet for some reason. .

Yeah nice, you can cut through to the Dargo rd from there or head up to Moroka area through tracks. . . Or just chill out, too many options!!

That is awesome Rossco. Awesome photos and sounds like you got good weather. Drone photos do so much more justice to the places we visit don't they?
Also that is a great redbelly specimen. In good condition too! I got bitten by one of them in the high country about 13 years ago. lol
