Correct. Leafs have a different bearing setup for the hubs as well over the coils. I believe the coil 233 is 33 spline then leaf 260 35 spline and the coil 260 37 spline. I may have the 260 ones ass about.

I have ended up getting a new 4.6 crown wheel and pinion from Nissan
My mechanic has fitted it but now it made a loud bang when put in 4wd after a few hundred metres.
Does anyone know what could be causing it. Cheers Andy

Are you certain the front is a 4.6?

I'm pretty damn sure
I had the 4.6 diff gears put in a couple years ago. Changed from 4.1
Will have to double check tho
The speedo changed the right amount when I changed from 4.1 to 4.6

By what you describe it sounds like your experiencing wind up of the transfer case. Or there is a problem with one of your locking hubs.
Are you saying you have had a 4.6 in the front for years or front and rear 4.6 for years? What numbers were stamped into the gears?

Yeah I had 4.6 in front and rear for a few years. Just had trouble with the rear recently. So I replaced it
Will have to check numbers
Might be a problem with locking hub.
Will check that out
Cheers
