Not really a monument, more of a sculpture. Representation of a European steel axe & an indigenous stone axe, Sculptures in the Scrub, Dandry Gorge in the Pilliga.

Voting is now closed.
I guess suggesting a ‘monumental voter turnout’ wasn’t a great strategy as voter turnout is the lowest we’ve ever had in the competition, but despite this voting was nevertheless close.
I enjoyed the extra bits of info included in some entries this month, perhaps the topic made it natural to do so?
In both first & second place with 8 & 7 votes respectively was VK2FMIA, his second consecutive month as a winner.
1st
The memorial for the Myall Creek Massacre - a spot I have some special memories from.
2nd Glen Depot - a place I had not previously heard of, but where I hope to add a memory from someday.
In joint third place, each with 6 votes were:
NissanGQ4.2 - statue of Banjo
MB - plaque detailing how his locality was named after an ex con.
Cuppa - pic of his stunningly gorgeous wife aboard the MV Tom Brennan
Apollofish - Dog on the Tuckerbox.
Scroll up if you want to see the 3rd place photos again.
Well done VK2FMIA - please contact me with a new topic. All previous topics can be viewed at http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...cs-amp-Winners
Please bear in mind that the next comp will extend over two months & that each member will be able to make double the usual number of entries each.
