Traction Control

The traction control turns off when I put the vehicle into low range.

Does anyone know if that's just a simple switch that gets activated when the little stick is moved? If it is, can I move the switch so it deactivates when I shift into 4H??

Or, is there any other way I can automatically deactivate traction control when I shift into 4H??
