Missing in Action
Barraba Track
The only 4wd track that I know of that has speed advisory signs!.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HBl1bFTnYg
The track is 8 km long & ends at the summit of Mt Kaputar at 1510 meters ASL with some of the best views in NSW. The section between the locked gates is 4.5 km.
Keys are needed to access this track & only 8 vehicles per week are allowed with restrictions on what you can do on the track. Keys can be obtained from National Parks in Narrabri or from the Barraba Cafe. $10 per vehicle with a $40 deposit refunded when keys are returned.

I am he, fear me
Yeah, I was touring thru the area in 2014 and the views from some of the roads and tracks in the region are quite incredible.
I didn't do the Barraba Track itself tho, just filed it away for a 'must do one day if I get an opportunity'.
Have to also add that the town of Bingara at the eastern end of the Killarney Gap Rd has to be in the top 3 inland towns for scenery and a warm welcome for tourists.
Very nice little town.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
