Anyone fitted the RECARO Style XL to their GU

The seats in my patrol are nearly up to getting chucked out. thinking about putting in a set of RECARO Style XL but for the money I'm not sure i want to put them in as i don't know what they are like.

Have you investigated an overhaul of your current seats?
    New foam and skin etc?
Or are the mechanically stuffed too?
    Cheers

I got mine bottom bit redone as part of the rwc as the foam was flat and learning away from the seat. It's a natural exit point, turn and side out. I can see my stitching starting to come apart again.
Something with higher sides will just make it more difficult to get out.

We had the recaro seats fitted in our Komatsu field service Utes and it made a big difference to how your back felt after hours on the dirt roads they tend to hold your spine straight when going around bends on bumpy roads when it came time to replace the ute the seats were swapped over to the new truck after having the bottom redone where you get in and out and were good to go for another 2 years

I did my homework and found that Recaro seats were cheaper than genuine Nissan seats. I then went further into it and am now considering refurbishing the seats I have with new foam, new cloth and lumbar support. Got a quote for around $500. Can't remember if that was for the 1.5 passenger seat or the driver's bucket seat.

I love the Recaro but found the Stratos much easier for me to get in and out of the vehicle... but I am a fat bastard.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

and the thigh boslters are not to high to make departing APITB up there in $$$$$s
