Thought I might start some thing up, if it hasn`t all ready been done so.
Took a drive out to Gaeta and took a photo of this little bat. It was unharmed that I could see and thought it was a different spot for it to hang out.

Great idea Bush Ranger! I get a kick out of the animals, birds and plants out in the bush. Nice pic of the bat!
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??
Great idea, now I need to search through my pictures. Seen heaps of different wildlife over the years. Couple of memorable encounters that I don't have on camera are a dingo with a bush turkey in its mouth (I do have it on video but looks tiny). Two Sambar deer crossing the road at speed between myself and the 4wd 100 meters in front of me. And one of the biggest feral pigs I've ever seen up in Cape York, I though I was going to run over him as he disappeared in from of me.
I do have a picture of a Cassowary I'll post up when I'm on the PC.
Cheers

Don't often take photos of the really good stuff because you only get a few seconds, and driving with a camera in hand isn't a good idea. By the time you stop it's gone.
Saw a pure white fox up around Nimmitabel about 2 years back running along the road about 5am.
Usual roos, donkeys, camels, like everyone else.
Had a Kooka fly in the drivers window and hit me in the side of the head about 15 years ago (was going for the ocky strap on the roof-rack I reckon) Fell down between my back and the seat. Had to stop and put him out on the side of the road. Lucky I was only going about 20kph looking for a house number.
Seen an emu "snowball roll" after tripping over a wire fence strand.... head....legs....head ....legs..etc. Was riding a trail bike at the time and laughed so hard I came off.
The one you won't believe is the "Robbo Panther" walking along the side of a tarred road in overcast east Gippsland rainforest just after sunrise. Wouldn't believe it either unless I saw it myself. Size of a large Kelpie but slightly shorter legs and a little longer in the body. Jet black and slinking like a cat. Turned around and looked straight at us - headlights were still on and it's eyes mirrored back blue/silver eye shine. Cat ears, short muzzle. My wife and I looked at each other "what tha ??" and by the time we looked back it was gone.
Be interested in any other sightings of the elusive "Panther" whatever it is.
"Can't" is a dirty 4 letter word.
Best way to deal with a "Can't" is to chop off the "t" and brew it in boiled water for a few minutes.
Sip on the "t", and consider what you've got left to work with

Hey, the kids swore they saw a large cat near Mt Richmond, but whatever it was had already disappeared by the time I turned to look. I have seen and shot some bloody big feral cats, but nothing as large as these : http://scienceblogs.com/tetrapodzool...ral-mega-cats/
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
My little mate in my room in Bali the last few nights

On Black Saturday had a Koala walk straight through our camp, we were sitting in a circle and he walked right passed us. He went down the murray for a drink
