GU steering box in a GQ

    Hi,
I got a 88 swb patrol with GQ front diff. I want to replace the old steering box with a 2006 GU steering box. Is there anywhere that sells a adjustable drag link with a GQ tie rod at one end and a GU at the Pitman arm end?

    Cheers

Most don't change the pit arm, they change the rod end to suit the gu box and gq diff setup..
As the tapers between the 2 models were different

Yes that's what he wants to do too.

Yes mate you should ha able to buy it from Superior. Call them and they will fit a GU tie rod end to one end for you. As Westy said the tapers are different.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
