    Rust repair to chassis

    Hi,

Has anyone here had experience with stripping down a Y60 down to the chassis to overhaul the chassis?

There is some rust I would like to repair, but am wondering if this is a rabbit hole I dont want to go down.

    Thanks.

Just a thought, seeing chassie repairs could be an insurance problem??
what about buy a cheap car, you know blown engine etc.
and rebuild that chassie and discard old, would get yours back on the rd a whole lot faster.
gain alot of spares at the same time.

But if it's "only" surface rust then a sand blast etc maybe a good idea.

    again, pics would help.
    IF IT'S NOT A NISSAN.
    THEN IT'S A COMPROMISE
