Hello All!!
Hi Team
Long time site perv and Patrol owner, (300 000 km on 1988 GQ TD42 Wagon and 90 000 on a 2002 GU ZD30 - and no, it didn't grenade in my ownership!), currently driving a D40 Navara, have recently (12 months ago, how time flies) purchased a 1992 SWB Patrol that I'm in the process of "tidying" up, as with all projects it has taken about twice as long and 4 times the money I had anticipated.... But it is just about back on the road and I'm looking forward to fully utilizing its off road ability around the parks and tracks in SEQ (and further afield once I'm confident in its reliability!), would love to attend any forum drives in the near future so I can get back into practice around some experts...
Also seems like a perfect opportunity to thank everyone for their willingness to make public such useful information, has been invaluable over the last 12 months and I look forward to hopefully being able to contribute down the track.
See you out there...
David

Legendary
G'day mate and welcome. Only 4 times the budget - your laughing.
2005 GU IV ST 3.0. Snorkel. Roof rack. Awning. Spots. Welded I/C. Dual batteries & VSR. UHF. Barn door hinge extension. Roof top spot lights. Rear drawers. 2" lift. NADS. EGT and boost gauges. Trans temp and water temp gauges. Provent 200 catch can. Rear ladder
And crawling on the planet's face, some insects called the human race. Lost in time. And lost in space... and meaning.

Thanks 4bye4, that's definitely not the financial controllers opinion... As is standard procedure when it comes to our patrols, it has proven easier to ask for forgiveness than approval...
Have tried to upload a pic of the old girl, not sure how successful I have been but I'll keep trying...
