    gu 4.2. 2004 coolent leak

    hi guys just looked under my patrol an found a puddle of coolent so I got under it to have a look carnt find it anywhere looked on top under heater hoses looked at everything anyone had same problem////

    Park your patrol where you know it's clean,
    you might of parked over someone else's problem

    best way

    go for a drive (during the day light hours) for about 1-2 hours, get it nice and warm
    park in a nice clean area, and leave it for about 20 mins

    come and check then
    if there is any stains on the ground of fresh coolant
    have a look in the engine bay for any wet spots, that will give you an idea on where to look, it may be a pin prick of a leak in a hose

    but it WILL leave evidence and you can track it from there

    also as TD said, you sure it wasn't there before you parked there?

    Normally you can smell coolant leaks, it may leave
    a white residual powder where it was leaking to.

    Have you checked your coolant level? If your not loosing coolant, it's not yours.
