Hi Guys.
I have a 2009 Patrol GU VI with the ZD30 motor. I need to get myself 1xEGT gauge and 1xBoost gauge. I was wondering if there were any recommendations and how to fix advise that I could get from you guys before venturing into the unknown...
Thanks a lot bigcol. I'm not familiar with scan gauges so that's why I was wondering if there was an alternative. Do you or ET have some tips on how the scan gauge should be fitted and what the best version would be suitable?
Thanks again!
my understanding is they are a Plug and Play mate. they plug into the service port and give you a Heap of real time info on Boost, EGT, etc. I don't know much about them but i checked out the one in Growlers on a trip and was pretty impressed with the info he had at hand. Id go that way for sure!!
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!
Check out my Toy --> MudRunnerTD's GQ From the Ground Up

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever. WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
Not sure it give you real time EGTs, but most other would be available.
Not sure where ppl mount them [Scan-Gauge] but my Ecu-Talk is mounted in front of the dash cluster
About the onlt things I cant see is the trip meter and Clock,
I think the Scan-gauge is a tad more slender
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Awesome thanks guys! I really appreciate it. Which version of the Scangauge is best suited for the patrol please? Also I was interested in getting a EGT gauge, just to keep an eye on the temps.
