I actually like the full time hubs as the locking hubs are another drive line failure point.
Not having to get out and turn the things to lock, especially when you have forgotten to do it before you hit the tracks or when you get back on the highway and hear the front tyres singing.
I am happy to have it on the Old Trol though. My Corolla was full time 4wd with a centre diff lock switch.
If it is going to be a tow car, then as TD suggested, it wont take a lot of mileage to recoup the cost of the mod
I think I like the idea of not having to get out to lock in the front hubs, especially if its raining, or muddy, etc.
Not planned to be a tow car but has anderson plug next to trailer socket, and has electric trailer brake setup in there too.
I was just reading about F series engines, and it seems you have the pick of the bunch, with a shorter stroke and revised head. I hope it serves you well.
