Currawinya Nat Park
Had a week to spare , so took a run to Currawinya, about a 1000 km west of brissy , and between Eulo and Hungerford ( nsw border , and dingo fence ) up until the 80s it was a working sheep station , with the shearing sheds and quarters all in good condition, the park also has the Granites, huge granite boulders pushed out of the ground by a fault line , and both a salt and fresh water lake, but unfortunately the tracks to the lakes were closed due to recent rain , ( it's the sort of place that is closed pretty quick as soon as at rains ) we spent a couple of days camped by the Paroo river , amazing camp site with fresh yabbies easily caught right at camp , the place is well worth a look for anyone heading to the corner country ,
