Great idea thanks Clunk & Evo, we'll check em out there on the Friday after work :-) Has there been any talk of how long until they officially close the doors?

Drove past the one in Cannington the other night and they still had heaps of stock in the store, there not exactly in a rush to sell

FWIW from the owners...

The new RAYS store concept was developed and has been tested in five pilot stores which either
opened or were refurbished in the second quarter of the 2015/16 financial year.
While the performance of the new concept stores has been promising, the overall performance
of the heritage Ray’s Outdoors stores continues to be disappointing.

Accordingly it has been determined that of the 55 Ray’s Outdoors/RAYS stores operating at
31 December 2015:
•5 pilot Rays stores continue as RAYS stores
•12 stores will be converted into a new concept RAYS stores
•15 stores will be convert to another Group brand (BCF, Rebel, Supercheap, Amart)
•23 stores will either be transferred to other Group brands or closed in 2016/17, depending on the
final outcome of the market assessment for those locations.

Bottom line is they are in no hurry as it is kind of a stock reduction exercise rather than a full on closing down the business and many of their lines are already or will be carried in the refurbished stores or go to BCF etc.
Still some decent bargains to be had tho

I usually have a few jobs up North around that time of year that are very attractive 'cause it isn't minus 200 degrees, blowing it's tits off and about to #$%@#$ snow!!!.

Would love to check out the conversion, turbo and auto that I'm lacking, I promise I'll pack a protective mouth guard and a camera if you don't mind, maybe even a quick passenger ride comparison against mine if at all possible :-) !
