I just store my food and camping gear in cheap plastic storage boxes and getting over the fact they break easy.
I was thinking about knocking up some alloy storage boxes, but I'm sure it will be expensive 2 do.
Good luck with the search and report back what you come up with
If you're after alloy boxes can I suggest you try typing in "Roadie boxes" somewhere.
I picked up a few [lockable for $50 each} ATM its storing the lambs wool seat covers from the Patrol.
When I googled the brand and pt number they retailed at $600 new.
As a bonus they are dust and water proof as well.
EG if you compare the price to say a space case I think they are fair,,,http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Australia...sAAOSwl9BWIaxi

You would sell heaps with the right price, all it needs to be is dust proof as good as it can be,
with a couple of over-centre catches.
Whats a good size 450mm wide by 700mm long by 450mm high, spring load
handles on each end what price you think ????$$$$$
no welding required just fold and rivet with some silicon
I always look at the Super Cheap Alloy range but they are all a tad too big
Too big is no good they need to be able to be manageable by one person

Dodgy bastard, but would make it cheaper.
I'd rather learn 2 weld and give myself practice and weld it fully

Good points. I was thinking plastic to save the interior a bit. Some of those Alloy boxes would be shite on the rest of the gear packed around them.
I saw these on a camper trailer advert, but buggered if I can find out who makes/sells them. Wonder if the camper trailer mob would sell just the boxes...
