    easy way to get tdc on td42

    hi guys trying to get tdc on the diesel haveing a bugger of a time doing it on my own what is the easyway to do this over than pulling injectors back out

    Big socket on the crank? Pulling the glow plugs would be easier than injectors if you had too. . .

    Use a 19mm socket on the power steering pump. Tighten the belt if necessary to get it to turn. And make sure its out of gear.

    so i took the glow plugs out sooooooooo easy so i have done the vaulve clearances just waiting for the battery to charge ...... some silly bugga left the door ajar and the battery droped a bit low so it is on charge go out soon....... hmmmm forgot to put the connection for the glowplugs back on just realised ..... stupid idgit i am lol ok i will go hook it up now

    i think i did it wrong it seams it is noisier ....... anyone on the central coast nsw wanna come over and give me some help ??????????

    OK sympton of the issue rattley top end blows white smoke ....... so im not getting good combustion in one or more of the cylinders ..... im wondering if it may be that the springs are stuffed on the vaulves i dunno ..........help.....
