TD4.2 same motor ive been working on replaced injectors as was told thats the issue with it sounds to me big end or piston

so now i can get a silver top from the local wrecker or rebuild mine i dont know at the moment everything i tough has gone to shit .......... might sell them both and buy a kia rio

Take a day to sit down and take it all in then plan the best
way to get yourself mobile without it hurting $$$$ too much lol

this is not even rego'd yet i have a TB that is my daily been doing bits and pieces as i get the cash .......... im now thinking do some homework and work out which parts to buy . as in what pistons cam and so on so i can get most of the stuff together other than bearings then send it off to get machining done then get bosses mechanic to put it back together for me ........ this could end up being the death of my mini resto for a few more years

If it is a big end, can't that be done with engine in situ?

I don't know what you've been working on that's why I asked. Would be nice if you posted full information when asking for advise....
