    Suspension question

I recently bought a 97 gq patrol wagon with TJM XGS Springs and Shocks, the previous owner didn't know squat about what sizes the springs were so luckily the part number tags were still on the springs, 50mm Heavy Duty Progressive Springs in the rear and 20mm Springs in the front. But here's the thing, the 20mm front springs are actually for a cab chassis! I have absolutely no idea as to why they were fitted and not the correct ones, I am definitely installing the correct springs and shocks but should I be concerned about going off road until I change them over?

Not at all .... These springs will be fine offroad.

The front of the wagon and the front of a Cab Chassis are essentially the same components, so it will all work ok.

Yea I wouldn't stress at all about it mate.. will cause no issue what so ever...
Weird though that it's only 20 front and 50 rear..

Yeah I agree. Cab Chassis and wagon fronts are the same. No idea why they would have installed different spring heights apart from regularly towing something heavy.
In the words of a Dhuck "QUACK".
