Egr pipe

Hey guys,

my egr pipe has developed a hole and now the car sounds like a tractor,
can anyone steer me in the right direction to find a new one or are they
only from Nissan?

The car is an 07 NON crd wagon

I'd just block it at both ends

yup, time for the EGR blanking mod, you just need two, one for each end.

Not sure how you got a hole in it, you sure it isn't a gasket gone?

They tend to rust between firewall and engine.. a bit of mud or something can sit there and rust it out.. it's not unheard of but not a common thing..

As mentioned you can sorce a second hand one or blank it both ends.
Blanking the exhaust end requires heat shield off..
If you have some skills they are simple to make. Just trace your gasket and used 1mm stainless..

Threedogs does blanks but not sure if he does one for the exhaust end too..
