SUCH IS LIFE
I've always used Bosch on my cars and found them very good. They now have a double platinum plug that supposed to last 100k.

Is this a hard job on a 4.8L? How much should I be paying for platnums plugs?
Cheers Andrew

Platinum plugs are a good plug for sure, do thay last 100,000k who knows but I wouldn't leave them in that long (not the smartest thing to do in an alloy head) Just stick with the good brands ie. NGK, Bosch, Splitfire, Golden lodge & stay away from Champion for you own sake.
As long as you change your plugs every 20,000k I personally don't see the need to spend more than is required but really the choice is yours.
