GQ long range sub tank. Free

This is the one I picked up from BA.
As I told him the day that I got it, if it doesn't fit I'll give the forum members first grabs at it.

I can't see it fitting in my GU, so I move it on.

It's only a tank no other bits n pieces, except for some hi pressure hose.

    Disregard the bottom tank.
I'll check the part numbers when I get home.
TA35G is what I make out on the pic.

    Edit...
Would rather give it to someone who isn't a fly by visitor

    A known member/contributor I'd say.

What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

That tank is for the LPG conversion in a Petty GQ which is why it has the pump in it.

Had the same setup in my beloved Dual Fueler about 4 Patrols ago
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Mmm. It doesn't have a pump in it atm. Still I don't think it will bolt up in a GU, even if it does the sender location is out and the one bolt hole for the front has nowhere to be bolted to.

Thanks ET. That narrows it down for someone who is interested.

    Shit!!!
Sorry, my bad I must be wrong about the pump or pick up setup or whatever... pls disregard and i owe you a choccy frog

AFAIK I agree it won't bolt up to a GU, tho it may fit with mods/brackets or whatever but been wrong about it already so I'll shut up.

    Nah not completely.

I think BA had his GQ on gas at some stage, so it makes sense. I think he used the same pump/sender in the tank that he has now, but I'll still take the frog.lol

As for it bolting up in a GU, maybe, but I haven't got the time to be screwing around with it.

No i dont... you just need a pick up and run an external pump...

It originally had an efi sender unit cut down with the pump included but that went with the engine i sold and just have the diesel pick up now which is just a tube.

Ahhhh... so I was sorta wrong when I thought I was totally wrong... you can still have a choccy frog but only a plain one.
I was pretty sure mine had the pump in the tank

On the bright side at least I don't have to shut up.
