I'm guessing the new ones are LED? You might need some load resistors

Seems expensive when you can buy load resistors for about $1.60 from some electronics suppliers.

Are the load resistors hard to install?

you'll need 50 OHm load resistors cheap as chips but as you noted the relay is the easy option
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

I am he, fear me
Change the Flasher Relay... last ones I bought were under $5
Takes 10 seconds including opening the drivers door :-)
I certainly can't be rrsed splicing in load resistors... unless you need 1 off for the brake LED to fool the Cruise Control
Also means you don't get any issues with trailers etc
Make sure you get the correct pin out B-L-E and not E-L-B

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
