When it comes to development for performance technology in cars, motorsport is where a lot of it happens. Products are put to the ultimate test of endurance and performance and that leads to the parts then sold onto the public being capable of meeting the highest of standards.

So at XFORCE, we are passionate about racing and our exhausts are used in a variety of motorsport categories around the world. That means we’ve had the help of the world’s greatest engineers, mechanics and drivers in improving our exhaust systems.

Here are a few examples of motorsport categories around the world XFORCE are involved with:

V8 SUPERCARS

Being Australia’s number one motorsport category, the V8s are extremely competitive with multimillion dollar teams fighting it out over 15 race weekends a year including the famous Bathurst 1000 at Mt Panorama. XFORCE are aligned with Tekno Autosports who in 2015 claimed three race wins and a total of seven podium finishes.

V8 UTES

The V8 Utes are one of the most popular support categories to the V8 Supercars with Holden Commodore and Fold Falcon utes rubbing panels – often literally – with each other all over the country. The utes are almost completely factory standard bar their tyres, shocks, ECU and exhaust system. The latter is where XFORCE come in. Every single car in the field runs full exhaust systems custom made by XFORCE.

DRIFTING

Drifting has evolved into one of the world’s most popular motorsport genres and it continues to grow in Australia as well. While most competitors choose Japanese cars for their sideways work, Queenslander Nick “Driftkid” Coulson competes in Australian drifting championships using a trusty Holden Commodore ute. It’s not your regular work truck though, under the hood lives a supercharged LS2 V8 motor which pumps out 430kW (550hp). With that amount of power on tap, it needs a serious exhaust system. The ute runs a complete custom XFORCE system.
