New GQ Suspension help
Hi all
have just bought a GQ and am planning to use it for mostly long distance touring with the occasional mud/rough track and beach work thrown in
It currently has a 4inch lift kit that consists of OME springs and shocks ,ext brake lines, drop boxes, bump stop kits ,solid rear custom panhard, front tower spacers and steering damper relocation kit
The kit was fitted by UMHAUERS in Geelong in 07 and was quite expensive but the catch is i need to get a roadworthy and it wont pass as is
It also has no swaybars which i dont think is legal and wont be doing the handling any favours (it seems to drive nice as is though)
So if i change the springs to 3 inch and refit the swaybars will it be legal? or is 50mm the max allowed
cheers Sheafer+

So after some research it looks like i have to remove the kit and fit a 50mm kit ,Bummer the guy i bought it from said it would not be a drama and all i had to do was the windscreen and door hinges for a roadworthy!!
anyone want to swap a 4inch lift for a 2 inch?
