The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I'll add more to what I wrote last night....
Fantastic farkin' meetup !
Enormous thanks to AB making great pizzas and for hosting this and everybody else involved, turned up, and/or contributed in whatever shape or form! I'm certain everybody elses feelings are mutual and Roofy and Jane were very grateful with the turnout and generosity!!
Was so great to finally meet many faces, who until then, were only usernames on the forum!
I could have sat there and listen to Cuppa's travel stories for days... Very fascinating!
I apologize for my buggered voice all evening and a bad guitar sound check lol
Can't wait till next one!!

Travelling Podologist
Back home now. I've attended a number of forum meetups from different forums over the years, but this one rates as one of the best, if not the best. The organisation with the tucker & everything else was second to none, thanks AB & Nic for your chef'ing, & to the ladies for the sweets, what a feast! Thanks to everyone who was there, all of you made it a real pleasure. I know others have already said it, but you really are a great bunch of people to spend time with. This forum is a model for online community that many others could learn from ........ & it's better still face to face. Loved the Church (& it's latest 'extension') , especially finding a little bit of me already there. Just a top set up all round.

Another epic meet up, special thanks to AB and Leah for again putting up their home for this. Great to meet some new faces and to catch up with old friends and the usual reprobates (I'll leave it to you to work out what category you fit in).
Had a great time and a credit to the forum members.
Cheers
